How to Order

  • 1. Calculate Pulley Diameter without lagging: Pulley diameter without lagging = Overall pulley diameter – twice the lagging pad thickness (H); If it is inclined lagging pad, use H2 as lagging pad thickness.

  • 2. Complete Set Solutions: Our engineer team will come up with the solution of pulley static-balance based on the pulley diameter without lagging

  • 3. Requirement of crowned face pulley: If the pulley face without lagging is crowned, use SRS15 or SRS19 lagging pads. If the pulley without lagging is flat face and the face length is less than 750m, use two inclined lagging pads (SRE19)at both sides and one flat lagging pad (SRS19) in the middle. The three lagging pads need to be in the same line and the thickness (H)
    of the inclined lagging pads at both outer edges are 13mm, so that the pulley face with lagging is trapezoidal crowned.

  • Installation Step

  • 1. Based on the number of lagging pads required, mark the installation positions of the lagging pads on the pulley evenly.

  • 2. Weld or bolt the first retainer onto the marked position (make sure the retainer is parallel to the axial line of the pulley). See image 1.

  • 3. Slide the lagging pad into the first installed retainer, and then based on the corresponding position, weld or bolt the second retainer on the other side of the pad. Repeat this step until installing all retainers and pads. See image 2, 3, 4.

  • 4. After installing the pad into the retainer, please also install two fixtures at both ends of the pads to prevent the pads from sliding out of the retainer,

  • 5. There is a spacing between adjacent single retainers that offered by our engineering team. All the single retainers need to be installed according to the equal spacing. See image 5.

  • 6. Simply take out the old slide pads and insert the new ones, then put the fixtures back and retighten the slide pads again. See image 6.
